SEO helps people find what they’re searching for when using Search Engines like Google and Yahoo etc. Keywords are important words or phrases used when performing a search, which direct the person  to the search results. Search results appear in a certain order for a reason. Keywords are competitive and SEO is used to help sites rank high on the list of results.

Blogs and websites often use various search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to increase the number of backlinks pointing to their blogs or websites. Backlink is only one of the many effective strategies to drive traffic/visitors to blogs and websites.

Backlinks are incoming links to a blog or website. Having more backlinks represents the popularity and value of a blog or website. Search Engines often use the number of backlinks that a blog or website has as one of the most important criteria for determining that particular blog or website’s search engine’s page ranking, popularity and importance for visitors.

The next SEO method is using RSS (really simple syndication).  One can share your blog or website content across the Internet. An RSS feed allows a blog or website to give a live stream of updates in a format that can be used in a web browser, email subscribers, or on your favorite news reader application. It  means that you can get all of the updates from your favorite blogs or websites in one place without going to each website to see if there are any new postings.  One can submit your blog or website to several RSS feed directories that will also use the title as anchor text to point back to your site. So this will help you pick up some backlinks.
